I hope no one will construe the title of this Tome as a challenge it is - - in case you were so eager to get the stories that you didn't notice - stores that scared even me. This is meant as a simple statement of fact, not a summons for you to cry and ringing tones that some of the stories didn't scare you. Why the word even is there I don't know. I propose to call the book, and a simple and dignified manner, stories that scared me, I was overruled and seemed that stories that scared even me has more swing to it.
