Zero damage on the cover or spine. As shown in the pictures, there is slight waving of some of the center pages, but I have flipped through the whole book and none of the pages are stuck together. Some creasing of page corners from dog earring. (One such page is shown in the photos and the creasing is not obvious or extreme.) About 10 instances throughout the book where my teenage self (over ten years ago) felt the inexplicable need to write the date in ink in small letters in the upper corner of some pages.
